@jeder ah but consider that most OEMS just now shipped that year old google decision. So its news to everyone that does not have an up to date google device.
Or a device with that at all, i've only heard about this recently the first time because my custom ROM is degoogled. So even though its old news, I just never new

@jeder most OEMS are just terrible in keeping up with aosp development. Interestingly, the bigger they are, the more they seem to lag behind because they do more custom stuff, and seem to forget that "updates are important actually"
