a heads up to anyone looking to see/get a ride on SKPL's SN84 (VT 614) DMUs - PKP Intercity will start phasing them out of usage by the end of 14th September with currently unknown future (Lubuskie will take anything /hj)[EDIT: Not yet unknown, because SKPL has fucked up the calculations lmao], and instead they will use SKPL's double SD85 (DM'90) DMUs. And so trains number:
- TLK 30110 and 33110 "Wetlina"
will be upgraded to IC category after the SD85 takeover
in October during second weekend of September, with trains number:
- TLK 30112 and 33112 "Bieszczady",
- TLK 63102 and 36102 "Sudety",
- TLK 63106 and 36106 "Szczeliniec"
still using SN84s for the time being but will also most likely be replaced and upgraded IC category sometime during the next yearly timetable, with Bieszczady being upgraded possibly earlier than that. Vagonweb (
SN84/SD85)[not yet updated] has all the data besides seat layout and classes, SD85s will have open saloon 1st class which is for some reason seen as declassified on there right now

EDIT: SKPL dun goofed

EDIT 2: Bad luck, they are starting the phase out NOW

EDIT 3: the article does not mention Bieszczady...?
