@jeder same tbh, that's why I'm gonna stay defederated from them until GTS has the option for just... either hiding them from just the public timeline or followers-only federation (as in, users can be found and everything but no posts will federate over until someone from my instance follows someone over there).

@kescher @jeder meanwhile over here, we only have two options: federate with them fully, or just defederating from them entirely. suspending entire users might work but the issue then is that you can't unsuspend them.
