fedi photo opinion, kinda subtooty? Underexposed pictures can look pretty cool. Esp when there are bright lights / spots in it. I enjoy the look. But when it is just a scene with more balanced light, it hmm, well it makes it hard to see anything, or at least is exhausting.

Are any of you afraid of noise and shooting at the lowest ISO or something?

fedi photo opinion, kinda subtooty? @tammeow but yeah yesterday I went to do some photos before the dawn and since I used 210mm, I really had to go down with ISO because shooting at 1/200s started getting very annoying lmao

fedi photo opinion, kinda subtooty? @jeder oh yeah. esp my older cameras with TFT displays are like that mm. i have zebra patterns on the one camera that has them to figure out if i am yoinking relevant highlights so that they are gone for forever or not.

fedi photo opinion, kinda subtooty? @hypha @tammeow I mean having something overexposed is kinda nice because darkening it in post won't mean that you'll suddenly have a shitton of grain and shit like when doing the opposite to severely underexposed photos

fedi photo opinion, kinda subtooty? @jeder @tammeow it usually underexpose at shooting and adjust exposure during development, sometimes adding 3-4 more stops
