@kaia @aetios I read that when the US used Navajo as human cryptography during ww2 (because no one in Europe or Japan spoke Navajo) they made them translate Spain as “sheep pain” and I think that’s beautiful.

@kaia @lain i don't really know what separates a commieblock from a regular block of flats lol though here there is a lot of like, subsidised? housing that has been auctioned for ages (since the 80s at least) you can apply to if you have a low income in order to get a place to live

in here if you want the american suburb you basically need to move to certain towns which do have residential areas; they are usually smaller towns that are a few ways away from the city

@schappi @kaia @lain commie blocks have like, that feel, like, if it hasn't been renovated you can clearly see that it was made out of prefabricated walls and shit, because the gaps between them are huge
