@feliks phone link (the integration between chromeos and android) finally does more than instant hotspot chromebooks finally see google cast devices in the system (instead of chrome browser) and provide proper media control i can stream apps from my phone to my chromebook and see notifications between them my bluetooth devices and wi-fi passwords sync between devices and many others that weren't a thing last time i checked
