The UK wants to rule that electronic devices must use USB-C. That's great and cool, except er, it doesn't really matter, does it? Like, the EU already mandated this. Since the EU already mandated it, manufacturers won't change their products for the UK. So this is another example of the UK being an EU rule-taker without any of the benefits of being in the EU.

@yassie_j @jeder i too would also accept the uk being in the EEA, but purely for selfish reasons (so i can buy cheap english language retro hw and games without import fees again)
