why is a single ticket from Guben to Leipzig 45 EUR
i'm so confused, this is an RE train, you can get this shit with a D-Ticket for 49 EUR per month
list of DB search results for trains between Guben and Leipzig Hbf, it's RE 10 running every 2 hours, with a single ticket for each one being 44.90 EUR ( for 1 person aged 15-26 )

@ptrc expectations vs reality
list of DB results of trains between Dresden and Zgorzelec, a station after Görlitz, it's mostly RE1 and RB60 running hourly with a single ticket for each one costing 34.80 EUR
list of DB results of trains between Dresden and Görlitz, it's RE1 and RB60 running hourly with a single ticket for each one costing 20.30 EUR
KD announcement saying that every ticket going to/from/through Zgorzelec station is eligible to do Zgorzelec - Görlitz for free even if it's not the part of the journey, and KD conductors will print a free ticket for that stretch if you don't have a valid ticket. Offer is also valid in Regio trains going to Görlitz

@jeder yeah that's why i was looking at trains from Guben because the border section there is apparently impossible to purchase online at a sensible price
