@jeder i absolutely loved how it was used in metro exodus enhanced edition, and to this day i haven't seen a single game that actually used it as tastefully as that

@jeder i agree... altho raytracing is the only way to step up reflections and shadows... i guess it takes some time for studios so that they do not overdo it with the effects...

@jeder don't you think that it was the same when graphics APIs and hardware allowed usage of bump- and specular mapping? Look how glossy Doom 3 is, for example.
