@kat_cal2 @puppygirlhornypost2 Proton is pretty much steam only yes, but there is stuff like wine-ge or some lutris distro of wine which is just Proton but with different name
I'd also advice against using nixos as the first distro or whatever because it's setup and all the tweaking and learning how to do all that shit is very time demanding, I'd probably go with something like ultramarine linux which is Fedora but with a bunch of stuff that fixes a bunch of fedora idiosyncracies about being scared of copyright violation
