but like
how much would i need to set up again after switching? what happens to my files? i have like 350GB of important stuff. what is proton, isn't that steam only? i need games to run well

@kat_cal2 @puppygirlhornypost2 there's a tool called Bottles which can run Windows applications using a runner of choice without impacting the system install much, that includes Proton (which is just enhanced Wine)

Although it's not perfect

@natty @kat_cal2 @puppygirlhornypost2 i tried bottles a few times. it worked a grand total of 0 times (when wine wasn't working). i've always just had better success using wine or proton.
