mostly because they kept running trains on this line for ages, with a period where germans going to Ostritz (across the bridge from "Krzewina Zgorzelecka") would get escorted by border guards :3
@awoo what's even funnier is that it's one of the smallest, yet most frequent stations - on a regular day it has 18 pairs of trains, something that only happens in larger towns in Lower Silesia
@awoo@ptrc i have lately seen one KD DMU tender where they even listed Görlitz-Trzciniec line as one of the desired lines when getting german homologation for them, but they have since removed D homologation as one of the requirements since it'd take too long, but if that still goes ahead, Krzewina Zgorzelecka might probably have even more trains than now
@awoo@ptrc not sure how that would sit on with ZVON and all that other shit since like, that's not*: - Poland - nor woj. dolnośląskie and if there even is enough capacity on that line for 8 more pairs yes, the line runs mostly on polish side around Krzewina but it's still like
@ptrc@awoo i am expecting a very UMWD/KD-ish move that is, make them pay up which will either work or fail (resulting in non-stop trains between Görlitz and Krzewina most likely, or no trains at all lmao)
@ptrc@awoo anyway i have the pdf of the tender, october 2024, they did remove the requirement few days later because they got asked about it and found out it's not possible to do it in 2 years
