@jeder @tammeow if you shoot at 800 and develop at 400 the film is underexposed (setting ISO on the camera does nothing but change the metering logic to allow for less light to produce same exposure times)

@jeder @tammeow you can work with this with film with high latitude (i.e. vision3 500t) where you can intentionally over or underexpose without doing push/pull development

@quinn @jeder also general rule of thumb of film is to aim to overexpose a bit or at least keep the shadows okay lit.
this is opposed to digital where you want to underexpose to preserve highlights since u can push shadows a bit later.
