the fucking ticket printing machine at Wien Hbf ate my return ticket

I am so mad

I am being told to buy another ticket now which will most certainly not be cheap

(it will then be refunded, but that's money that will be missing. am quite unhappy)

ok they refunded the entire extra amount for the new tickets, that was a really good turn-around time. thanks for making up on this ÖBB (something the Deutsche Bahn could learn a lot from btw)

hmmm. The email says that refunded tickets are not valid anymore.

If text ends up being correct (which I will try to validate before train departure), I will raise hell.

edit: validation prior to departure may be difficult because only the ÖBB has the actual validity data I think, so I will fuck around and find out
