oh huh, our electric volvo buses have some additional light bulbs that light up whenever they enable a turn indicator, to light up whatever might be in that spot

I am not talking about the amber indicator lights of course, but another white bulb under them

afaik volvo was pioneering this thing, I remember some comercials showcasting this; nowadays it's quite common and especialy good in cars with led matrix lights (as I heard), and there's also cheapo solution used by vag - light up front anti fog lamp when turning xD

because that is semi-standard even in cars

@4censord this is quite literally the first time we got buses in this decade and our buses produced in 2017 do not have this

@jeder hmm, in the german wikipedia there exists a specific page for this, de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurvenlicht
in the english one, it just shows the generic headlamp one.

the first mention of it seems to be from ~192?
