Apparently, I'm doing Mastodon wrong?

I use boost when I think "Hey, everyone should see this too."

And "like" just means I really liked that.

People keep saying those mean something else.

Autism versus Allism? Or Just me?

i've been on this website for a bit over 5 years and that's like the first time i see someone mentioning it's different
anyway, just use it however you like

@JeremyMallin but yeah, some use likes as read receipts, and that's pretty much the only other meaning of the like button that i know of
