@jeder I don't understand why you would buy a Mac Mini because the gaming market sucks? How does this device even solve the problem at all (run video games)?
@SuperDicq because i have other problems with this piece of shit laptop that m4 mac would solve (actually shitty computational power, unable to edit photos at reasonable speeds because previews are lagging behind, i don't actually play that much on pc)
@SuperDicq and performance was not any better (alongside darktable providing infinitely worse user experience compared to lightroom, and i haven't even used lightroom before darktable)
@SuperDicq it's a memepad t495 the kernel panics are amdgpu related and while they get fixed in next kernel release, it's not really great to either sit on quite old lts kernel or have to wait for few weeks for the next release to happen
@jeder Spending hundreds of euros on a stupid Apple product sounds like a very bad way to deal with having to wait a few weeks for a kernel release.
You can probably also just unstable kernel of your favorite distro to get the required fixes earlier. Very interesting because I had a T495 as my work laptop for a long time and I never had any stability issues with it.
