hey fedi. I'm in need of some audio content to let run in the background while I rest/sleep. should be little or no music, and lots of spoken words, in English or German. I've run out of podcasts and am unsure how to acquire audio books and the like.

good free sources for stuff like that? 🤔

podcast recommendations also welcome but please only ones without inserted ads. host read ads are fine.

@tammeow I've never seriously looked at ASMR beyond for memes. I don't think someone whispering would work for me fwiw, it should ideally have simply spoken content for me to ignore 😅

@sanity sounds nice! I've considered ambient stuff like that but it usually doesn't come with words. will check it out!
