@domi making accessories that happen to amazingly do well a unique thing not expected of them feels like a great marketing strategy, like if they would actually do that in a subsequent visually distinct revision.
I would rather have a laptop-powered SBC connected over such PoE adapter, than have the NIC for the laptop on its board, on a USB hub, to avoid attaching a separate Ethernet cable.
