@piggo Arch kernel upgrade requires reboot, otherwise it will be a mismatch between the kernel version that is running and the (unloaded) kernel modules that reside on disk.

@oleksandr or rather keep the old modules around for the old kernel and then swap them on reboot or something. it seems quite simple to in initrd or such

@jeder @oleksandr there was some weird thing in aur that would rsync the modules so USB didnt stop working on kernel upgrade, i used that. idk if it still works
