The manufacturer of new cars for the Prague metro will ultimately be decided between two offers. Only two interested parties applied by the deadline for the application to participate in the largest contract in the history of the Prague Public Transport Company (DPP).

One is the association of Siemens Mobility and Škoda Group, the other is Alstom. Contrary to initial expectations, Stadler Rail did not apply.
