@jeder@pony I was in Lübeck Thursday–Sunday and I've notices one change
BEHOLD
These are good actually. I mean, it's definitely a much better space use than PKP PLK boards in Gdańsk Główny. I mean, a lot of space is basically wasted
@elly@pony@naruciakk the other fact is that they couldn't get a proper aspect ratio and got 2 16:9 displays instead, which like, why either way, i am very much preferring dot matrixes like previous one from Lübeck or whatever is in Wrocław Główny, way more readable
@jeder@elly@pony This is shit also Akschually, the old Deutsche Bahn boards are not dot matrices, these are LCDs. The newest DB boards are LEDs.
Only dot-matrix used by DB Netz is this one and although I like the idea (a really cheap passenger information even for absolutely small stations), but they are funny (and they are now being replaced for some newer LED screens)
@elly@pony@jeder I don't think these are retrofitted, because Gdańsk Główny used to have some even older ones, it's just another abomination from Bydgoszcz (KZŁ Bydgoszcz is IMO even more of a meme than PESA)
