Schwerin kinda sounds like an off-brand Berlin (@ RE 8 ➜ Berlin Ostbahnhof for #38C3) #NowTräwelling traewelling.de/status/4090508

Kostrzyn is a BIG and SERIOUS city with a direct train connection to Warsaw!! pay no attention to the fact it's only one pair, running in the middle of the night... (@ IC 81170 ➜ Warszawa Centralna for #38C3) #NowTräwelling

@mei captain, I don't think this is the direction you're supposed to take for 38c3

@IngaLovinde the IC out of Kostrzyn is marked in the timetable as a guaranteed connection, so I'm not too worried (guaranteed to wait up to 10 minutes if the incoming regional train is significantly delayed, further action up to dispatch)

not to mention that the line in question doesn't see much traffic and as a result the trains are quite punctual (plenty of space to make up the time)

@mei oh neat, I didn't know that, and would never think that this covers delays of NEB trains too!
But we take this RB somewhat often to the beach (because it connects nicely to the tram, when things go okay), and it's not very rare that it's delayed by 10-15 minutes when departing from Berlin, or by half an hour when arriving to Berlin, even when the bridge was still closed for construction and trains terminated in Germany
