so, some belated tram news I guess, Poznań is getting 24 used R1.1 trams from Bonn for maximum of 2 230 000 €
their argumentation is that modernising 105N's would be an absolutely uneconomical decision, especially since 105N's are like, close to 50 years old while these are "just" 30 years old, and the modernisation of similar amount would cost at least 10 times as that.
Not that it has stopped right-wingers from whining about selling off to Germans and something something you don't get a new 30 year old tram in a good state yadda yadda (because modernising a 50 year old team with parts that have been in trams made in 1950s for 10 times as much is definitely better)
