current KD wishlist:
- optional 10 Elf 2 EMUs from PESA, will most likely go ahead given their ambitious plans
- 2 (+ optional 3) used DMUs (failed tender, KW had a similar tender without the unrealistic option and got an offer for two reimported SA136s from Italy)
- 10 (+ optional 20) new DMUs (only offer is over budget)
- 10 (+ optional 10) aluminium? EMUs (just announced, all of the current stock is steel and they want something lighter now, and also something they misleadingly call "light rail" for some reason despite light rail meaning something like DLR or tram-like vehicles)
- unknown amount of double decker EMUs (possible tender with other operator/voivodeship)
