hdmi cec is a great thing, on paper that is
in practice it has the feel of being unfinished, only some remote buttons are actually passed through (what do you mean I cannot use number pad or channel switcher), the signal itself is pretty much optional and isn't passed through in a lot of devices, it's a very Meh experience overall
