the only good way to read man pages is to print them out
not just in the terminal but on actual physical paper
that's how I deal with shit like systemd units because I genuinely can't wrap my mind around them when I have to deal with that shit ass terminal window and instead just print it out on A4 or A5
i have a refillable inkjet and I am not afraid of using it because it doesn't use drivers and you shouldn't need drivers for a fucking printer
still going on my first bottles and I printed like 1k pages, and it doesn't dry up like cartridges
my printer exposes the page count in its http api for some goddamn reason, which I don't mind but it's weird
in other words: get a brother
one con: I still am using that shitty officejet for scanning stuff because the brother has subpar scanner
like, it will just insert all kinds of chroma noise that you'd automatically remove when getting a RAW into an editor and just aaaaaaaaa
