as a matter of survival, i probably need noise cancelling headphones for the office

should be wired, i will be wearing them for hours every day... and the priority is really the noise cancelling (i think i have realistic expectations about noise cancelling, it helps a lot really)

any ideas?

ok so maybe i want either sony wh-1000xm5 or bose quitcomfort ultra

i kinda like the sony more because they have a pink model

opinions?

@pony i have xm4s anc is great on these but plastic is quite brittle and so they are fucked, hopefully xm5s aren't as bad

@pony i mean I wasn't either, but like, i am hopeful this problem isn't there since they changed the structure for the first time since like xm2

@jeder i mean i had to do a warranty claim on the in-ear xm4 already (lucky me they accepted it as i got a new battery 1.5 years into the lifespan of it, but the next time i either buy new ones or get crafty with replacement and i don't think that time is more than 2 years away at most)
