already having enough of today: my apartment complex sent out an urgent message that they will cut off heating and hot water for the whole day for maintenance, as well as testing the fire alarms for the whole day, which was totally indistinguishable from any other message about maintenance.
Two hours later, they tell us this is an April’s fools joke, with this line: “Thank you for being such good sports, and we hope this brought a little laughter to your day!”
Yeah, joking about cutting off access to essential services and making the flat unliveable is bringing me a little laughter too…
