@julia they're trying very hard to migrate to git and it's actually in progress! but as far as i can tell, the source of truth for mozilla-central is still mercurial, and gecko-dev is just a mirror made with git-cinnabar
the best part is that moz-phab works pretty damn well with gecko-dev - all of my patches, except one, were submitted from git commits because i gave up on mercurial
