last laptop post for the evening
I feel like "4 USB ports PLUS the usual I/O" is not that big an ask but not only can I not get that, I can't even reliably get ethernet and video out
and that's why I end up using laptops from 15 years ago

@izzy to this day I have no clue how to use this ethernet port I have on my X1 Yoga. It shows up as an Intel Ethernet controller, but I have zero clue what I need for it cuz Lenovo's site just... Doesn't say this is an option for this machine (or I'm blind)
