@yassie_j yeah here some of these expect you to give the tip but nobody cares if you do plus all the fucking food delivery apps give the tip screen for some goddamn reason who cares bro
However, what does happen in Britain is that a “service charge” is added to the bill, which is a few %. It’s not mandatory, but you have to ask for it to be removed. And of course, most people don’t. It’s not as egregious as expecting 20% like in the USA, but it’s a very sneaky way to get patrons to pay more.
