Having real time carriage loading information is really cool on some S-Bahn trains, but I wonder how this load shape came to be… (Berlin Hackescher Markt going east)
@q yeah, but in the middle of a trip I’d expect a more even distribution I think the explanation is that there’s a medium load on the train and it’s just semi-random (especially given they’re older trains)
@jeder@q@maeow i kinda expected door counters to be easier because most new public transport contracts in Germany by now require this data to be obtained and you can actually count and measure load based on number of people/number of seats
