having to bite my tongue with this client and not make absurd demands like "what laptop number is that?" but rather being specific "underneath the laptop is a sticker with the name of this establishment and a number used for asset management. what is the asset number of this laptop?" because i'm not about to waste 30 fucking minutes with email correspondence bc they went "oh it says 3" and im like "what the fuck do you mean it says 3"

treating the elementary school teachers like elementary school students because that's how they act when something is wrong. im not joking they literally start yelling "it's broken i dont know whyy just look at it i dont have time for this why are you asking me if it was plugged in i dont know!!"

literally they asked for "charger extenders" it took me like 2 hours to get out of them that instead of keeping one laptop cart with 30 laptops and another with 20 they decided to move 5 over. the one with 20 laptops only had 20 chargers. they freaked out asking me "we need laptop charger extenders i cant plug these in there's no plugs". any question on what they were extending was met with the same old "i dont know dont ask me that can you please take a look" meanwhile i was downstairs doing something important for someone else and didnt have the time to walk all the way to the fourth floor just to figure out what they were doing

@jeder i am assuming they thought they made extension cords for laptop chargers. that wouldnt fix the fact that there were 20 chargers in the laptop cart though. you can extend them all you want but you can't just get 5 full laptop chargers out of nowhere

@jeder im sure you could make a splitter but that doesn't actually increase the output of each individual charger. all that would do is make the laptops charge slower and be a potential fire hazard. completely unnecessary as there is an entire 10 plug strip in the cart that 5 laptop chargers can plug into. the carts are made for 30 but i didnt have 30 fucking chargers to give to 20 laptops
