Just realized cosmic has window manager tabs (they call it "stack windows" or "window stacking")
Meaning I can dedicate a portion of the screen next to my editor to something that can either be a terminal, a browser, or whatever. and yes, my editor of choice does also embed a terminal; but sometimes i like to have it separate.

@jeder It, at least on the surface, appears to be a nice blend of a tiling window manager, but mouse-friendly, and toxic suck​less​more guys nowhere in sight

@jeder yeah, it has just about everything i miss from kde in the wm department.

it also has some annoying bugs, and features straight out missing, but at least they're honest with calling it an alpha.
