Do you know any manuals about compiling Openwrt yourself in a way that it will be upgradable from official openwrt firmware?

Since my ISP doesn't have ipv6 anyway, I want to try disabling it to save some space and also integrating wireguard and a few other apps into a base image. I've heard integrating them may save a little disk space too.

@f2k1de @yura @jeder many openwrt targets only have a few megabytes of flash storage
when every kilobyte matters, removing features you don't need or cannot use is normal

@novenary @f2k1de @jeder exactly. I do not expect my ISP to provide ipv6 anytime soon anyway.

So I literally see no reason to keep ipv6 support on my 13 years old tplink. And even if I need it in the future, I want to be able to update back to the firmware released by openwrt team.
