i think the funniest ai criticism ive heard, and im genuinely not even sure where that was pulled from, is that "training an LLM uses as much energy as building 6 cars"

do you understand how many cars are built daily lol

@halva i dont get why youd ever even use the energy argument, it's like... the least problematic part of LLMs lol

video streaming uses a fuckton of energy too, isnt the societal impact like so much more important emu_otori_explode
