@jeder that means that the admin of their instance was like "this isnt technically illegal so i dont wanna ban them, but also cant have them without cws"
@4censord@jeder In this case (I was one of the admins) it was both voluntarily and as a way to allow them on the platform. The user in question struggles to filter speech and to articulate things. We didn't want other people to end up upset because they came off as rude or said something that should have had a cw.
@jeder listen that user has a very good reason for it. the cw was voluntary and the account belongs to a headmate of my partner who struggles to articulate things and can be fairly graphic or insensitive inadvertently
