@novenary i think they're generally a net benefit for cities since they connect public transit routes between each other and also function as the last mile
but man people don't care for public infrastructure at all, especially when it's for-profit
@jeder@novenary like it should be sanctionable to leave them like this. if you can't use public infrastructure diligently, then your own two legs should be your only infrastructure
unfortunately, kicksharing operators don't care to implement that, and city administrations would much rather ban anything they don't understand lol
@halva@novenary they don't enforce shit, here they get guidelines from bigger cities for this shit and it's Bearable but in smaller cities they will do anything
@novenary@halva and they are like too expensive compared to city bike share schemes, I can do 20 minutes in wrocław for free, and 60 minutes for 3pln, good luck with this on lime lol
@novenary@halva oh and stopping usage is very simple, you just turn the lock no app bullshit you could technically use this system without app at all but I can't be arsed to register my card (and they need some goofy ass low-level number for it that isn't mastercard/visa number lol)
