i think my only use of twitter dms was when i was part of a group of lgbt weirdos harassing russian oppositional politicians on twitter into talking about the ban on trans people in 2023

and one of my mutuals in that group, who was also trying to get a legal sex marker change at the same time, decided to send me her selfies and i pretty much went "yeah you look cute" and that was it

oh actually no. when i came back to twitter this year, i had dm'd that same mutual saying "hey im back hiiii"

and it was pretty awkward since she could apparently clearly remember my name but couldn't remember who i was lol

my ass when a regular of one irc channel joined a quite private discord server i was on and I couldn't fucking figure out where I saw that nickname previously
