@SuperDicq @jeder can you use it to make 3D print files? I’ve never looked into it and resigned myself to only using thingiverse since I don’t know CAD

@nqd @jeder What do you mean with 3D print files exactly?

Meshes that can be loaded into slicer software such as STL or OBJ can obviously be exported from Blender.

STEP files don't work very well, because those are definitely intended for real CAD software such as FreeCAD.

With "3D print files" you could also mean GCODE files, you can't make those using Blender. You need to generate GCODE using Slicer software such as Slic3r, PrusaSlicer or Cura.

@SuperDicq @jeder okay I think I was referring to the GCode files since I usually grab an STL from thingiverse and slice it with prusa.
So if I can make a 3d model in blender then I can have it sliced with prusa? Thank you for your knowledge Dicq-sama
