It is actually really sad that because of the car industry’s shift to SUVs as “family” vehicles in Europe, there’s only like four or five MPVs (or minivans, in US English) on the market
Those things are WAYYYY more practical than an SUV

I am guessing it’s a combo of a few reasons: they are more cost-effective than an SUV, which are usually way more expensive Easy to import from Japan or Korea You step into these, so your passengers are more graceful, instead of an SUV where you have to actually climb up
