someone at work wanted a framework laptop so a diy kit showed up at my door yesterday
at first i was like "wtf why is this touchpad so garbage - i can only click on the left side??"
turns out somehow there was a random piece of plastic stuck under that little black bridge from from the factory (kb/touchpad/top-case is a single unit that you just put on there and connect a flex cable for, this defo wasnt me)

this together with half their stuff being out of stock and the other half having "1-3 weeks delivery" is such a joke

i literally cant fix this rn
