@jeder like usb type c is cool but it costs a lot more (both to license and to physically install) + literally has like no peripherals compared to type a

the only time ive seen shit making use of type c exclusive speeds is with thunderbolt/usb4 docks and eGPUs, and even then it's because thunderbolt/usb4 is essentially hotpluggable PCIe rather than "actually" usb
