For those wondering, the answer to "how wet am I going to get cycling back from work in a thunderstorm at 10pm?"
The answer is very.
Basically just embraced it, switched from steel caps to sandals, pulled on my poncho, and went for it.
Power is out here, there were trees down on the way that required detours. But mostly it was just me getting soaked and giggling to myself in the process.
Rain is only awful if you let it be.
