@piggo years ago Gdynia Główna also wasn’t called this, but Gdynia Główna Osobowa, and you still get names like this in warsaw even, like, there's Warszawa Ochota Postojowa and Warszawa Główna Towarowa, could probably find also something like that elsewhere
@piggo „Główne" is a new addition in case of Kielce and they added it just because city wanted it lmao if anything Katowice should have that since it has a shitton of stations
@piggo and like, the most egregious usage of „Główny" must go to Wałbrzych and Kłodzko where you have Wałbrzych Główny and Kłodzko Główne, but also Wałbrzych Miasto and Kłodzko Miasto, and in case of Wałbrzych, also Wałbrzych Centrum, all three of which are more important passenger-wise than "main” stations
@piggo@photos i mean, if you want really weirdly named stations, look at Horažďovice, or, absolute favorite, Počátky-Žirovnice, which is neither in Počátky or Žirovnice or even that close
@piggo@photos (now arguably the entire Plzen - Budejce "main" line is a gem in this regard, like Pačejov, which is not really in Pačejov, but a place called Pačejov Nádraží (well, shocking), but even then the station is not like really in it, but some little walk away
then of course, you get very central and reasonably placed Blovice. because of course.
