Hm, ICE L is fine, I guess? Step-Free Access is a huge win, and the train seems in general to be built to a similar passenger comfort standard as the ICE 3neo, with modern wooden finishes and seats with added privacy.
And being able to look down half the train and see it wiggle around is fun.
Standard class seats seem to be fairly standard and relatively comfortable, though maybe missing a bit of padding? Will need a longer trip on them to make a good call on that. Seat alignment with the windows seems mostly fine?
The shorter carriages make the coaches a bit cozier I think?
