it should be legal to forcibly steal a driving license from anyone over 70 years of age

@jeder Serious answer: I think frequent health assessments (like yearly) should be mandatory to keep a driver's license above age 70. A vision, hearing, cognitive, reaction and traffic rules knowledge test.

@jeder And anyone over 70 should be allowed to use public transportation for free. (Well, I think public transportation should be free for everyone, but making it free for seniors would be a great start, especially given that many seniors are poor)

@jeder why do you think it should be an instant disqualification, even if they'd pass a health check?

@LunaDragofelis they are an active risk for anyone in the proximity of the road, I am reading at least two articles every month about road accidents where they are the culprit.

@jeder my mom is 68 and still a fairly competent driver

though she's always been a careful and defensive driver, that is probably a major factor too

I think that any senior driving health test is supposed to be designed in a way that if one is a danger to other road users, one will fail said test (and then get their license revoked)
