So the self-proclaimed leftist anarchist "Vulkangruppe" set some power grid cables in Berlin on fire yesterday, resulting in total power loss for 45k families on the outskirts of Berlin. Apparently it will take the city a week to restore the power.
According to "Vulkangruppe" statement, this was an action of "self-defense" and "international solidarity" and "against fossil fuels". And 45k families having to spend the coldest week of this winter without electricity are an "acceptable collateral damage". They are a bit sorry about affecting regular poor families, but it's not a big deal to "Vulkangruppe" because there are also some fancy villas in that area.

What the fuck?

@IngaLovinde no, not really, having redundancy is important, while this is uhh, yeah

@IngaLovinde fucking up those three lines here are what was needed to cut off that whole area, and there was no redundancy

@jeder but I think it's unreasonable to expect that every single village has at least three independent links to the grid
