Kinda interesting day at Rynek Kolejowy today, here's some of the stories: First, a reminder to those who don't dig into yearly timetables (that sorta includes me too) - trains will be replaced by buses from the March timetable change until the end of August between Jasło and Krosno in Subcarpathia. #PKPIC will cut stops in Kuźnia Raciborska (a small town of 4600 between Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Racibórz) for some trains. Although the official reason are safety concerns due to the short (~100 m) platforms, and a request to move stop location indicators ~20 m beyond the end of platforms was filed with PKP PLK, the company's press office noted demand is "tiny". Kuźnia sits at a voivodeship border and regional services are provided by the Opole Voivodeship. @HaTetsu Z tego co kojarzę, postój w Kuźni wylatuje chyba tylko na Heweliuszu, który z lokomotywą ma 216 metrów (EU160 + 8 wagonów UIC Y), czyli o 96 metrów więcej niż sam peron. Dodatkowo w kierunku Raciborza/Rybnika zaraz za peronem jest most, więc dla wysiadających z końca pociągu nie jest to zbyt bezpieczne. Z bardzo podobnych powodów (most zaraz za krótkimi peronami) wylecą też postoje na Wrocławiu Mikołajowie dla wagonowych IC – zostaną tylko te na jednostkach.
@HaTetsu no niestety, takie kwestie to z punktu widzenia przewoźnika trochę balansowanie na granicy ryzyka – wszystko jest fajnie i działa, dopóki ktoś sobie czegoś nie zrobi i nie nasmaruje maila do mediów, UTK i wszystkich świętych, że PKP chciało go zabić wysadzając go na tłuczeń
@grzeeesiek@HaTetsu żeby było śmieszniej to mamy przypadki na Wrocławiu Głównym (!) gdzie zbyt długie pociągi wpuszczają na peron 1, i na takim Mieszku możesz sobie wysiąść na estakadzie (oczywiście ignorując polecenia drużyny)
